Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty, University of Novi Sad is organizing its annual conference titled Changing Paradigms in Education and Science.

Date: November 3-4, 2022
Address: Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty, University of Novi Sad, Subotica, Strossmayer str. 11, Serbia

The Hungarian Language Teacher Training Faculty in Subotica organizes its international conference every year in three different categories (interdisciplinary, methodological, ICT tools in education). This year's conference is also divided into the above mentioned three sections, however with a central topic, inviting different approaches in research and analysis of changing paradigms:

Paradigm is a generally acknowledged and accepted way of thinking, values, opinion, and system of activities within a specific time period, of local character and in specific social surroundings. According to Thomas Kuhn's theoretical approach, changing paradigmsare inevitable from time to time, as anomalies do appear in the system, as well as unexpected events and newer scientific (and everyday) theories and practices, which induce a crisis situation – this way, there certainly is a need for changing paradigms.

For example changing paradigms within the system of education cannot pass unnoticed, as online education, earlier used very carefully, today has become part of our everyday life, with its advantages and disadvantages, with its new technologies. Our system of interpersonal and social relations have been changed to a great deal, too: modern tools and platforms of communication have brought our social behaviour and connections to another dimension, even if we have not planned it like this, the pandemic has caused an essential change in our family, friends and social relations.

What are the recognizable directions of changing paradigms in education, social and human relations? Are there new leading principles, values, system of activities and attitudes, if yes, are these directions acceptable, future oriented, humane and problem solving?

We are inviting your contribution to our Conference in 2022 in terms of interdisciplinary scientific and theoretical, methodologicalpresentations and papers, within the framework of pedagogy, methodology and ICT tools.

Except for the above mentioned ones, other topics are welcome, as well!
